Late-Night Vague Creepy Things
This is something I'm sure we can all relate to.
You're driving home late at night, or worse, walking.. heck, maybe you even just look out your window in the middle of the night.. and you see something that you can almost identify but... not quite. Something about it is off. Off just enough to make whatever it is a bit unsettling.
Next thing you know you're fumbling your keys at the front door in a mild panic and chiding yourself for feeling fear over the kind of thing only a child should.
I bring this up because just a bit ago I pulled up to a stop light and on the corner to my left, there was something that kind of looked like a really muscular dog-body. And I say body because, although the mystery object had four legs, I couldn't see a head. Realistically, it was probably just some odd inanimate object... it certainly wasn't moving at the time... but my imagination ran with it just enough that I was conjuring up horrid headless dog-monsters as I pulled away from that stop-light. Perhaps they would have mouths in their fore-paws, or... perhaps if I had stayed there a little longer it would have lifted up a head I couldn't see at the time and it would be something horrifying beyond all imagining, like a big eel-head or somesuch..
Anyone else care to share some nightmares they've cooked up out of shadowy figures in the night? :)

The maybe-or-maybe-not headless thing I saw seemed way more muscular, like a pitbull... if pitbulls were the size of great danes.
