I don't know if I could choose another, just giving the fact im a huge Liger fan. I don't think I would wanna see another one take their place xD

But I do admit more Zoids need more air time. But I don't know which i'd pick.

Maybe a flier, or an underdog type Zoid, like a Helcat or Rev raptor. It'd be nice to see how a proper pilot would handle them instead of just being mowed over. xD

I would love if they would have showcased the fury some more, but its kinda hard to imagine a season that doesn't have a liger as a main character though! Shadow fox, lightning saix, rayse tiger, könig wolf, geno saurer, gairyuki etc. I would like to see them!

It depends entirely upon the storyline of the anime. However, my personal pick would be either a Descat, Stealth Dragon, or a Gungyalado. Then again, there are several fan Zoids out there that I would also like to see get included into official works...

Blits Tiger was the lead in Zoids Legacy (Zoids Saga 2), would make for an interesting crossover anime with the timelines that take place in the game.

If I recall right, Konig Wolf was the lead in the Zoids Zi (Zoids: Galaxy Quest Planet Zi ) manga.
Even though the short series had a crap ending, with a bit of better writing it would be great to see this adapted into an anime.

Rayse Tiger was the lead in Zoids VS3, has a workable story.

Maybe an adaptation of the story in Zoids Struggle, which has loads of unique characters, I haven't played enough to discover the lead Zoid or if there even is a specific one.

Another idea for a new series, maybe a reboot, would to make an adaptation of the rebirth century story which I believe is the title of the story depicted in the Zoids Art books. This story was an alteration/rewriting of the data in the Zoids Bible. No specific lead zoid, nobody playing favorites, just history, evolution, science, and war.

Yes ligers are the sort of "staple"/"popular" species in the universe, the genos (counting bfury) coming second I believe.
Something different needs the spotlight, I don't want to see another Zoids Fuzors. X-X (I'm sick of Liger Zero)

Things could always go the wacky route, create a NEW type of Zoid, or each episode has a different character and story that gives the spotlight to every Zoid throughout the show.

If I HAD to pick a liger, then I'd like to see Trinity Liger and the Arcadia Kingdom story get an anime adaptation.


Most of the suggestions above are of Zoids that have had side star roles, either by a hero ally or villan, I am holding the opposite argument. Such Zoids are too popular, and should give way for lesser known Zoids to shine. Light infantry Zoids like Rev Raptor and Helcat should not be lead roles. Those Zoids are too weak and would get mowed down by anything. Also flying Zoids should not be the lead, the main character needs to have strengths (stronger Zoid that infantry) and weaknesses (non-flying Zoid). The allies can have whatever, as long as they are supportive in combat...but not overly strong. Zoids on a team should be able to make up for each others' weaknesses to be well balanced.
