You will be able to just the more you talk to people the better it will become.
Also remember there are so many styles of English from American, to Canadian, British, and others. Do not get scared.

Then go for it. Worrying is not preparation. Check out Rosetta Stone. Go online and look up courses and tips. Pay attention to the way English-speakers talk. Read up and read constantly. Practice speaking English to others as often as you can, ask questions if you feel lost and don't stress about how you sound.

Don't worry, there are many ways for you to improve it
The problem is that each of them takes time (trust me on that, since I'm not a native speaker).
The faster way would be to actually be in a place where it's spoken regularly, otherwise:

- Practice with someone who knows (tutoring).
- Private lessons over some institutions/schools.
- OpenEnglish.

Also, reading/watching english-related things help a lot (like magazines or movies).

English is not my main language, since I live in Brazil, but over the past decade I had the opportunity to practice my English by using online programs like Ventrilo (during gaming sessions) and Skype (talking with fellow artists on FA).

I know I have a heavy accent, and some people aren't very patient. Some will be entitled and condemn you, but there are a bunch of people out there who are willing to actually listen. Trying to have calls with your friends seems to be a sure way to go about it. Always be open for being corrected, don't be afraid to run a word multiple times until you get it right, even in the middle of a sentence, and remember this trick:

Talking in falsetto helps. A LOT.
If you are having trouble speaking in another language, pretend you are imitating a movie or cartoon character you like. Talk like they do, even flexing your voice. Batman, The Joker, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Duck... Any character with a strong accent or mannerism will help you break into it.

Keep at it and eventually it will become second nature.

Being friendly to people, and not being scared to speak, helps a lot. Most people will support you, and will be happy to try speaking with you. Good luck!
