First off I would like to thank all of my watchers new and old as I give welcome to my recent new watchers. After a bit of a hiatus I've started buying some art again also entering as many raffles as I can (I promised I'll keep raffles bundled in labeled journals so as not to be overly SPAM). I have more art on the way and I've been opening some old folders of artwork ideas.

Currently I'm waiting on a replacement to my old laptop that has suffered a fatal loss of power, and am operating solely on my iTouch. I'm impressed by its capabilities but its limitations can be irksome. Highest on the list being that it limits my writing capabilities. But I have another computer lined up so soon that should be resolved.

In my life I now look upon April first with mild trepidation, my job is transitioning from overnight to an early 4am routine. I will enjoy the ability to do more evening/night type things with my friends and my pay rate supposedly won't be adversely affected so these are positive. However a larger portion of my time will be spent when we have customers in the store and that will alter our productivity. So long as I'm still able to have my requested vacations off ill be happy.

Speaking on conventions, they both were difficult choices but I've decided not to attend FCN or Califur this year. FCN has some mixed memories but on the whole has been a great time and I was not letting that be a factor. However most of the people I wish to go (and room) with we're not able to attend. I decided to skip it this year so I could better devote monies to Morphicon and Califur. Then more recently my plans for Califur had to be dropped for some personal considerations. I've reconsidered FCN but I with the room canceled and the difficulty on getting time off altered again I put the money elsewhere.

I'm going to try to be more active with my journals. But often I'm unsure what to write and it just becomes a ramble.
