Creepy things to be finding in the woods behind your home...

My friend 
and I went into the woods today. We live in a golfing community, surrounded by forests. The woods are awesome and filled with little pathways where people walk with their doggies. Kinda like a makeshift trail.
I have been going there for several years, Sujie has come along with me many of times too. We like to make little fun stick forts in there.
We went in there again today to work on a fort we had started last week... sadly when we got there we held a funeral for our fort... some meany had crushed our fort with a metal baseball bat, and left the "weapon" at the of the crime! Dun, dun, duuuunnnn!!! >:(
Okay in all seriousness now. That's not the creepy thing in this story.
...Honestly it is probably not that creepy to you or most people, but I just hear too many stories.
On the way back, we found a large Machete hidden behind a tree. We thought of burying it at first, but instead we figured it was a bad idea to leave it there. So along with the metal baseball bat...
...we brought the frightening looking blade home wrapped up in Sujie's boyfriend's jacket... xD Showed them to my parents who said we did the right thing. c: You wouldn't want some little kid finding them.
My mom said some teenager probably stole it out of their Dad's garage or something.
Still, it is scary to be walking leisurely through the woods, and see a sharp medal object sticking out of the ground. Could've belonged to some murderer or somethin'... You should have seen my face when I pulled it out from behind the tree. Sujie laughed at me.
