Convenience

Apparently it's easier to claim you're a part of whatever group you've (probably unintentionally) said something offensive about and then delete all the comments instead of taking thirty seconds to change a few tags, even if the people who call you out are being perfectly reasonable (and actually are in the group in question).
Hey, I'm not one to tell people how to think. Just remember that it's the need for "convenience" that poisoned all that food, caused a gigantic dust storm and caught workers in meat grinders in New York in the twenties and thirties. There's a reason people are expected to do things the right way in the workplace--and even outside a professional setting, you're supposed to take pride in your work. Half-assing things and refusing to be accountable for offending someone only causes problems. You can delete all the comments you like, but eventually your modus operandi will catch up with you.
I'm just sayin'.
