We only sorta missed each other, I got a whole bunch of photos of you and Nephis (sp?) in suit. I kind of stalked you both for a little bit here and there. I'm not even sure I would recognize you out of suit. X-D

I am probably most noticeable by my purple vest that I wore on Saturday, and the rather loud, bright red Canon EOS camera strap on my camera, which I had /all/ weekend long. Aside from being a redhead that is. X-D

I actually followed you both into a panel over near the dealers den later in the con. I don't recall what panel it was, but it was a good opportunity to get some extra pics. Hopefully Ill have them up in the next few days. Have about 2000 - 2500 or so to work through. ^.^

I'mma always kinda shy until I get to know folks. I generally won't nudge or walk up to folks and just strike up a conversation because I worry about being that random stranger bugging people and talking to them about stuff they really have no interest in. I know, I'm silly.

You are silly! I had my glasses off most of the con (I'd broken them) so I was having a really hard time reading badge names :X Can't say I recall the purple vest, it's all a fuzzy blur by now. Tell you what, next time you see me, point at your badge and I'll take it from there. You totally won't be "bugging me" <3

That was probably the Avian meet-and-greet. Was I shouting "only birds! No dogs allowed!" at the time? I think some people thought I was being serious, despite... being dresses as a dog at the time lol

Yes, yes I am indeed. *ear-splays cutely.* I will however keep the badge idea in mind for the future though. ^.^ I guess I've always figured that standing around and talking isn't #1 on the priority lists of suiters, so I try to take up little of their time as possible. I definitely look forward to a proper meeting!

Hmm, I didn't actually stay for the panel, I mostly snuck in to snag some pics and out again before the panel started, so not to interrupt. However according to my EXIF data, the photos taken during the panel were time stamped at 6:20 on Friday, so, yeah, had to have been the Avian panel. You're good.

Well, what else are you supposed to do in suit other than socialise? Seriously! There's only so many times you can wander the same hallway or camp the water jugs before it gets old XD

Fair enough I suppose. I always figured it was like "do as much silly and fun things as possible before I melt!" thing. I've never worn any part of a fursuit so I tend to assume most suiters prefer chatting when they're not turning into a puddle.

We're all different! Some people do it to play a character and be really outgoing but myself... WB is just a hairier version of the real me. Nephis is pretty serious too, in that he would probably enjoy talking about sustainable farming practices (or whatever) rather than bouncing around and distributing hugs XD

Ahh I see! So you kinda just hang out in suit and stuff, rather than look for ways to 'act out' and draw attention and the like? I would have thought that a suit wouldn't be conductive to doing that. Huh, learn something new every day! ^.^

Nephis is into photography, right? if so, I imagine that would be a good starting topic. I tend to be fairly shy at first until I become familiar with folks. Then the silly comes out. ^.^

Yeah, I guess we're kinda boring XD I've never been super into RP (unless it's DnD, that's awesome); I always feel so awkward. I do eventually plan to have "character" suits that are less like my real personality but eh, gotta practice so it's not all failsauce first!

And yes, he does like photography! I can fake my way through a conversation but he actually know how to use his. Would you laugh if I told you all the pictures I took on Thursday night didn't come out because I had the body set to automatic, but the lens to manual focus? :/

I didn't quite mean it like that, I just meant acting out mostly, whether its acting out a character or just being silly. I look forward to giving suiting a try some day. Be it a partial, just trying on paws or even a tail at some point. It looks like lots of fun. Only down side is, I'd have to figure out how to suit and do photography at the same time. X-D

Hehe well, at least there's a common interest there. I'm much the same way in being able to fake my way through a convo, to some extent. I'm still learning the tricks of the trade, so to speak. Nah, I've forgotten the manual focus on before too. Granted I noticed it promptly, but it sometimes takes me a bit. X-D

Lots of fun. Kinda wish a bit more socializing had of been possible, but its hard to find social time with friends at cons.

I know how that is. One must plan ahead often times.

The only success I've had with it is impromptu plans. Any time anything is planned it never goes according to plan :P

Lucky you! FE this year was a prime example of plans not working out. Out of 3 or 4 plans, not one actually panned out. Folks just get so busy, and then when you factor in Furry Standard Time, it all goes to heck. X-D

That's why I keep groups small and plans flexible but more or less locked.

Not a problem! Just wish I had more to contribute to the panel. Sometimes I don't think I'm fan enough to really contribute much. I hope the rest of your group made it out at least? I kind of snuck over to the dance competition to photograph it, so I wasn't fully sure what was going on with the trip.

We wound up going after the panel, but when we lost track of you we figured you were probably busy with photo obligations. If we ever meet up in Toronto, though, I'll be taking you to one for sure. :)

I was just in the next room over getting some shots while the getting was good. I knew you had my cell # so I figured if it came down to heading out someone would text me. I had just assumed it never materialized into actually occurring. Sorry about that! As it turns out, I never bought anything that weekend anyway, so it probably would have wound up being a 'tag along' trip for me, lol.
