Classic Sonic in which iteration?

Also, I always thought it was implied since Colors (voice change) that Sonic advanced in age, as we knew his age of 15 since Sonic Adventure I believe. Surely he's older at the point of Generations.

In sonic adventure 2 he was 17. In new Sonic games since sonic unleashed he is 15.

the very first Classic Sonic from sonic 1 & 2 was 16 which the classic Sonic from Sonic generations was based after.

Also There is not much cannon in the Sonic series. the games seem to come in small sets then they reboot the characters/stories ETC after a while even if we don't notice at first. They pretty much just do whatever feel like doing at the time. *mew

Not sure what your point is? Sonic age jumps between 15 to 17 all the time. It just depends on what they feel doing at the time. The Sonic game series does not have a very serious story cannon. plus they do half hearted reboots without even saying so all the time. point is the games are barely connected far as story to each other. *mew
