Well, that was professional. A little more warning might have been nice. *shakes head* Whatever. Can't say I really liked how it was set up anyway.

Oh, and I hope no one has anything on there they care about downloading, because I tried logging in to download my gallery, to see what would happen, and I can't get that tool to work at all. It doesn't matter for me because the couple of stories posted there were already here, but it's still unprofessional and a lousy way to close a site.

*grumbles* At least the login to get your faves works.

Oh yes, some advance warning would've be nice, at least the crowd wouldn't be confused as hell. The fact Eki just shut down without any notification, after criticizing FA for the same thing is rather detrimental to himself. That being said I doubt anyone with take him professionally or seriously anymore.

Anyway there's nothing of mine on FAP that's not on FA so I'm cool there too. I did bother to download a fav or two, but those were the only ones I wanted to keep.

FAP (Furry Art Pile) was an alternative site I rather liked; though the curator seems to have had his brain fall out and now he's crying over things not being fun anymore. He did this without any prior notification to anyone on FAP and shut the site down.

It's made worse by the fact said curator had criticized FA during FA's downtime, but now seems to be proving quite the hypocrite as he never came forward on anything to those who use his site.

In a nut shell this is a cluster fuck.

I notice that the site is back up now, with a note on the main page about the closing date. After complaints, I'm sure.
