Video: Shark Terrorizes Delegates at CITES
12 years ago
I had the opportunity to attend the 16th Conference of the Parties for CITES (UN Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) which convened in Bangkok earlier this month in Bangkok. Shark species were proposed to receive greater protections from unsustainable trade so one individual decided to employ a shark to terrorize delegates into voting for uplisting. It seems to have worked because all proposals of shark species went through! Although, it could have also been because this little guy is just too damn cute. Watch the video here!
