Not for this one, its a non-newtonian fluid. The cornstarch and water thing. Touch it slowly and your hand sinks in, but hit it really quickly and it solid surface, like a slab of meat or a thick fabric. The vibrations from the speaker are causing the stuff to change into that solid or solid-er state and pushes it up onto its self, where it then doesn't receive as much vibration to hold together and collapsed back. this forms tendrils and arches and other creepy things
