In high school I was a wrestler, and my wrestling partner was openly gay so of course everybody assumed that I was his "friend" you know what I mean I was but not his boy friend.
There was this time I asked a cheerleader out to get a hamburger after she cheered at a wrestling meet and she said to me while we where eating hamburgers together "it's okay that I can eat out and be with you my boyfriend wouldn't mind because you're gay"

Dafodil, just hang on his sholder, give him hugs and touch him a bunch. Be very very cleangy, laugh at everything he says even if you know its not a joke and don't stop smiling. Then get his phone number and Facebook and send him a message every half hour or so. Even if you have nothing to talk about. Guys really like that. If you have class with him always look and smile at him and never break eye contact even if he's not looking back at you. you should draw pictures of him in you as many as you can of you 2 holding hands and kissing with lots of hearts then stuff them in his locker.

Naw don't do that stuff but what you can do is just talk to him and become his friend, and say his name when you address him when he is in your presents. That way he will know you are in the room and it will get him to learn your name. Everything after than that is stuff you need to figure out on your own is too complicated to explain in text anyway. But that's the fun of being a 14 year old girl. All the awkwardness and frustrating moments are fun trust me.
