So yeah, I had fun at FWA this year, despite all the problems with the hotel. Thanks to being on the 42nd floor, the elevator troubles were somewhat lessened comparatively since I could use any elevator to easily reach my floor (stairs were frequently involved). I think I was more annoyed with the lack of cell reception in the hotel,. Not being able to communicate with people to coordinate group activities and having a phone that was constantly dead because it wasted a lot of battery reconnecting frequently was just plain obnoxious.

Anyway, a break down of the con for me...
I was driving the entire way down and back with  Antikythera in the passenger's seat.
I was rooming with  grumpydog  Alex_Dachshund  yukikitty  kaiizree and  superbird

Thursday:
Arrived at the hotel at 11 (I missed registration due to parking issues). Mostly hung out in the 5th floor lobby with a few GA furs who were down there till 3 am.

Friday:
Went out to eat at Hooters with  heidithewolf and company. Only other thing I really did that day was go see 2's show, which was great as always.

Saturday:
I got up in time to get down to the parade with my phone to video tape the fursuit parade. Didn't get a very good spot sadly, had to hold my phone over top of the head of someone in front of me for the 20+ minutes the parade lasted, I've not reviewed the whole recording yet, but it didn't look too bad. After that we tried to have lunch at the Hardrock Cafe with the  Triangle_furs but gave up after an hour of waiting for a table and went to the mall to eat, finding more triangle furs on the way :3. At 7pm I went to get a good spot for  Hali's/Matthew Ebel's show in the Main Event room and ended up with front row seats for me and  Antikythera. The show was awesome as always. And I managed to pick up some CD's for  Heidithewolf and  ChaosCanine's birthdays which happened to be this month. After that, since I'm a subscriber to Matthew Ebel's site, I went up to his room party to enjoy some local beers and the company of Matt and his other fans, we were there till 2 am lol...

Sunday:
It was kind of a lazy day for me, the only thing I really did was try to find people to hang out with. I did manage to go to  ManedCorgie's marker art panel, which I found to be very informative (I've always been curious about what types of supplies to get). After that, I tried to get together with  heidithewolf and company for dinner, but got separated because of the elevators and finally gave up and went to closing ceremonies instead.

Monday:
Drove home.
