Okay, we're pretty sure the LemurCon is happening for sure!! And it's all because of the help I got from all you great people, both here and on DA. I've never had such a response to my commission journals! It really means a lot to me- I don't even know what to say! ;o;
But thank you all so much, really!! I really appreciate all your help, your pulling together to aid me in accomplishing one of my dreams, and your generosity!

A_Mortal_Lemur for his contribution. He didn't just commission me for some money, oh no. He went way beyond that.
He accepted commissions for any kind of art- Including some for incredibly difficult and time-consuming 3D rendered CG animations! He put so much time into it (it can take months to complete those things!), and donated all that money to me.. I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate it! Just WOW- Go give some love to this man! <33
ANYWHO, on a totally unrelated note, HERE'S A FURSONA QUIZ LOL. I was bored.

I'm doing it for EDEN since she's become more of my fursona, recently... I mean, she IS the animal representation of the actual me. :U
HECK, I'LL DO IT FOR EDEN AND ZAHZU!
1 | What is the name of your fursona?
A: Eden
B: Zahzu
2 | Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
A: My name? 8D
B: Back when I FIRSTFIRSTFIRST made her (when I was 9 or 10), she was a dumb cat thing with a firey bandanna, and she was Tzyoku. Once I turned 12 or so I decided that I HATED THAT NAME. Nobody can every spell it or pronounce it- And heck I could hardly even pronounce it anymore. Without wanting to choke something, that is. I decided to give her a new name, but really I didn't have any ideas...
A few months after I decided Tzyoku had to go, I was looking up Hebrew names with my mom... We were looking for what I would change my name to if we ever converted and became Jewish. Anywho, at the end of the list was ZAZU, meaning energy and movement. I was like "HEY, WHAT AN AWESOME NAME (Even if it is the name of that hornbill on TLK) AND IT FITS A LEMUR PERFECTLY! THEY'RE ENERGETIC AND MOVE A LOT SOMETIMES!" But when I tried to make a Furcadia character with that name, it was taken. I added the H and VIOLA! Zahzu.
3 | What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
A: Albino female Sanford's Lemur (Eulemur sanfordi)- I actually didn't have any part of picking her species! In fact, I didn't come up with the original idea for her at all. My friend
Lemur2003 was talking to me and he decided he wanted to draw me (based on my personality) as a lemur. He decided on the Sanford's Lemur, and he made her albino... Little did he know that a few years later, Sanford's Lemurs would become one of my 3 absolute favorite species of lemur! :D
B: Ring-Tailed Lemur (Lemur catta)- I had originally made her as a Furcadia character, and out of the available species I picked a cat. I didn't realize that you could have a character that WASN'T a species on the game, lulz. So a cat she was, and as I started drawing her, her design changed gradually.. She eventually turned into a dragon, then she turned into a cat/dragon/ferret mix with a bunch of crazy markings. Once I started visiting this zoo where I was able to pet Ring-Tailed Lemurs, I started to love them more and more (even though I had loved them ever since Zoboomafoo, I just forgot about them for a while. FAIL), so I tossed one of those into the species cooking pot that was Tzyoku. Eventually I decided that the other animal parts were pointless and Lemurs were awesome enough on their own, so she became 100% Ring-Tailed lemur! (:
4 | What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc.
A: White with slight gray pigmentation retained in cooler areas (nose, hair, fingers and toes), as well as pigment-lacking icy blue eyes. Because she's albino, of course. x)
B: White, Gray and Black, because those are natural Ring-Tailed Lemur colors. Purple hair, because I love purple. And bright blue eyes, because I have no idea why- Just because Blue looks cool with purple+grayscale.
5 | What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
A: She acts exactly like me, for the most part.
B: Zahzu acts reeeeally similar to me as well, although I think she might be consistently cheerier. When she's happy she's way overly happy (she's also happy the vast majority of the time), and when she's not totally happy then she's still like. Mildly happy. She almost never gets sad. Angry, yes, but she'll even make a game out of her anger. I personally TRY to be happy, but I can get stressed out easily (my life is stressful enough- any extra stress I can't handle very well), and when I get stressed out I usually get grumpy and irritable.
6 | What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
A: MY NEWSY HAT! Her original design (as made by Lemur2003) didn't feature my clothes, but since he's drawn her in different outfits I figured I would draw her in some of mine. Namely my white Newsboy-style cap with the black polkadot ribbon around it. IRL I don't wear it CONSTANTLY, but I do love it! She also wears a lot of other outfits that I own IRL.
B:: Umm... Nothing? I don't think I actually have anything Zahzu has. :U Although I guess that since she wears a lot of little decorations on her belt, she could always wear one of the keychains I have IRL that are special to me (My hand-made Psychonauts charms, or my tiny Black Lemur plush Keychain that was made in Madagascar)
7 | What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
A: OHMYGOD WE HAVE THE SAME OUTFIT! *KERMIT ARMS*
B: WHOA A LEMUR I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN!
8 | What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
A: OHMYGOD WE HAVE THE SAME OUTFIT! *KERMIT ARMS*
B: AKLSDJADJAKSDJLAJSDKLA *LEMUR SOUNDS*
9 | How has your fursona changed over the years?
A: I've drawn her in my own IRL clothes, and given her my IRL hairstyle.
B: I think I pretty much already explained her history. :U
10 | How long have you had this fursona?
A: Lemur2003 first designed her when I was 13
B: Since I was 9/10, but she's only looked like she does now since I was 11/12.
11 | Would you like to be more like your fursona?
A: If only to have opposable thumbs on my hands AND feet. I'd love to be able to climb around using my toes. I EVEN HAD A DREAM ABOUT IT ONCE. Oh, and a built-in comb in your dentition would be awesome, too. o:
B: SEE ABOVE. Otherwise, IDK. It'd be cool to be like her wherein she's a bit more open and not-shy... I'm too nervous+shy+unsocialized+awkward. :I
