Uhm...updates?
Five months since my last journal, so I figured i'd post another one about nothing in particular.
First and foremost, I managed to procure a copy of Fire Elmblem for the 3ds via in-store credit at Gamestop; had to get a digital copy, unfortunately, and I have to say that this game is pretty damn awesome. The last fire emblem game I liked was way back on the gameboy advance, as the others didn't have enough appeal for me to get into them for very long. This game...I dunno what it is about it, I'm just hooked. I started off on the hard difficulty on classic, and I'm not one of those pansies who reset the game and reload when your character dies, which doesn't seem like too big a deal until you get later on in the game where some maps are just downright impossible because you don't have the right troops or numbers to fight. :c For what it's worth, it's about time I came across a 3ds game that's FINALLY making me say, "I'm glad I have a 3ds." Took you long enough, Nintendo. :/
Let's see...some of you know this already, but I'm jobless, and have been for a little while now due to an untimely lay off. I still haven't secured another job, and let me tell you: being broke hurts, but being broke AND income-less just plain sucks. I'm already practically out of any funds whatsoever, and it's going to start taking its toll on the people I live with since now they have to start paying my portion of house bills and what not. Hopefully this joblessness doesn't last for much longer! I guess on the bright side, it's certainly taught me a thing or two about conserving money and spending more wisely. I didn't think I could last so long with only a few groceries, so when I actually do get a job, I'll probably actually start having a little bit of spending money...we'll see. Oh, and in regards to the house...it's gonna be let go in the near future. I'm not about to be homeless, however.
A couple more things, the first being my last two submissions. I'm actually a wee bit bothered by something regarding the two of them: no comments. Not one. Even way back when my arting actually WAS shit, I got comments, but now two submissions in a row, I've gotten nothing. No, I'm not asking you people who actually read these journals to go and comment on them, or on any of my submissions for that matter, it's just something I notice and it's got me wondering what's the deal. Was something wrong with them? Did I just happen to submit two images in a row that didn't interest anyone? I dunno, thoughts? Granted, the last submission wasn't even something I drew; twas a reline and color, but still: nothing?
Finally, something people will probably actually care about reading: requests. Think I'll do like last time (which was about a year ago, hah hah): up to three? We'll see. I'm not taking them now, I'm just putting it out there that I may be doing a handful soonish.

2. At... least things are getting places? Good to hear you won't be homeless at the very least.
3. FA never notified me that they were submitted because, as usual, the notification system breaks inexplicably. I'd imagine the same applies to most of your followers. They were just flat-out not notified that something was posted. That said, the last one did make me think "he drew that? it looks completely different from most of his stuff." Good to know I'm not entirely crazy.
4. Lucarios in underwear?
3. Odd...but I wouldn't knock it. Something else wrong with FA? No surprise there.
4. Always relevant.
Alas, I'd say you're probably a victim of the bork.
Sorry that I've been too busy to pester you, I really should more!
It's fine. I haven't really been on skype much, anyhow. I log on and either linger and get a little disappointed, or get a lot of disappointed.
I hope you find a job soon D= Having no moneys means no food and food is good. I learned that on the internets. :3
Yes, having no food would kinda suck.
Please, get a job again soon! I wish you much luck!
Mi mate have the Fire Emblem and is just awesome! The Story line looks cool and the Anime style of the characters is just awesome
*hugs* i hope you can get a job soon honey, keep searching on webpages and the newspaper. You can do it cutie
Plus after going through 6 years of searching for a job with no success, I know how annoying that is having no money coming in regularly. All I've had since high school is temporary seasonal work doing baseball, so maybe once a year for a while I got paid each week for that, until I started doing high school games as well and get one big paycheck at the end of the season. I'm sure you'll be able to find something soon at least, I hope.
Geez! This is like the tenth time I've heard someone says that this FE I really freaking good! I sure would love to try it sometime... That is if I had a 3ds ... Or at least if I still had my nds ^^;
I tell you, once youre really broke, spending money feels more like strategy game. I should know; I myself have been really low on moneys, not so much for the lack of jobbing but because of college, heh~ <x3
According to my experience, if two or more pieces are submitted one after the other, it makes lazy people go "darn! Now I have to click twice... Nevermind..." At least that what I've heard x3
Also, I do try to space out my submissions for that reason. X3
