I don't even know exactly how to start this but
Today I noticed someone using an icon that was a blatant recolour of an image I drew this past summer for my dear friend (You can see it on my DA here: http://thesilliestwilly.deviantart......acks-313966322 ... As many of you know, I cleared my FA gallery a few months back so it is no longer hosted here).

The thing is, this person did not ask me at all. They did not credit me, either. And the thing that bothers me the most is that this isn't even the first time I've seen someone recolour that exact drawing without asking me!

Look, I am very flattered that you guys enjoy my art enough to want it as an icon... But the fact that no one ever asks OR even credits me is kind of hurtful. All you have to do is ask... Or at the very fucking least give credit... It just sucks. Nobody ever respects me enough or likes my art enough to want to buy my commissions, yet people will very happily just steal my art and hope I won't notice. :/
