Its hard to put a price on someone's work so I'll try.

Sketches: $5-15
Full Color: $20-30
Detailed: Depends on complexity - I'd say around $40-$50

All excluding tips and charges for extra stuff, characters, difficult characters etc.

Well considering you do traditional. Considering I've usually go on the FA forums I mostly see sketches go for a minimum of $5 dollars depending on the subject. Though I've seen sketches go by $10 or even $15 depending how skilled the artist is?

Well, I'm not exactly a professional on determing your prices for you. But I'd say: Price them as much you think they're worth. =3
I was thinking of doing comissions myself so I figured I'd be asking:
Sketches: $5,-
Inked pics: $10,- or $15,-
Flat colours: $15.- or $20,-
Coloured and shaded: $25,- or $30,-
And maybe some individual prices for multiple characters or backgrounds and etc. (You know what I mean. =P)
But like Stompy said: It's hard to determine someone else's prices. So it's best if you decide for yourself. ^w^

That being said: I found Bitcoon's price sheet to be an interesting way of deciding (or calculating) individual costs, so it might be an idea to check out. ;3

Another tip I might be able to give is for you to have at least some form of freedom in doing the comissions, since I know people who
tend to describe every tiny little detail that has to be in the pic, leaving almost 0% of creativity on your side. =w=
(I have done 'requests' in the past and some people can be 'really pushy' when it comes to this, so I figured I warned you beforehand.)

My input is similar to Cresco's, I'd say.

Sketch - $5 - $8 (Depending on complexity)
Inked - $15 - $18 (Complexity, again)
Flat color - $20 - $25
Fully colored and shaded - $30

I'd definitely make a price sheet and post it on FA. Definitely
one of the better ways to get people interested!

I agree with these guys :)
sketches would do great between $5-10
inked/outlined would be good around $10-15
flat color might be nice around $15-20
and finally full fledged color/shade $20-30
that has a bigger range because some can get quite complex :D

Hmm, interesting, I might be one of these whenever you open them up myself. But yeah, for your art, don't go above 30 for a finished pic, it's good, but not the best. I see far, FAR too many artists here on FA who set their prices by peers who are professional artists(I.E. have years of published work behind them, and do art for bigger industry names like DC or WeLoveFine or the like).

My suggestions?

5 for sketches, single character, +3 for every other one.(Based off the two sketches in your scraps)

10 for lined drawings, with +5 for additional characters.

15-20 for flat color, depending on just how much is going on in the scene, and +5 for extra characters

25-30 for full shaded/finished pictures.


Maybe include deals for multi pics, like half off a second picture, and buy 2 get 1 free or the like.
