We got back into FL on Monday evening and I've been working/in-school since so I haven't had much time to write an aftermath journal. I'm not gonna make this a long one, since there were so many amazing things that happened and people that I got to spend some good times with.

Overall, the con was great, FWA is always my party con, and we definitely went hard this year. Between dancing, walking up/down flights of stairs and screaming I wore myself out completely. By the last day, hardly any of us had our normal voices, and were sore and stiff from head to toe, haha. Got to check out some amazing parties such as and 's Elitist party, which was off the hook, as well as TigerPaw's suite party on Sunday.

My only problem with this con was concerning the hotel, which I'm sure many of ya'll have heard about how much of a nightmare this was. The hotel is simply not the right place for a furry con to be held. The elevator wait times were absolutely atrocious (worse than Anthrocon AND Dragon*Con, two conventions that are MUCH larger than this one). We took the stairs down from my floor 90% of the time to avoid waiting 20mins for a usable elevator car, and I only suited once because by the time you got on an elevator and made it down to conspace, you were ready to hit the headless lounge. In addition, in the center of the hotel, cellphone service was also a nightmare, so at times it was nearly impossible to get ahold of people to meet up, and a lot of time this con was spent waiting on replies or waiting on elevators or waiting on people, etc. it drove me nuts. The hotel staff was also pretty rude, and it seemed like they were unprepared for the amount of chaos that a furry convention brings, and they had absolutely zero tolerance on room parties, in which most hotels will give you at least a warning before coming back to shut ya down, they would just show up and WHOOPS parties over.

Luckily, there was a ton of good things about the convention itself that made up for a rather shit-tastic hotel. The FWA staff as always were great, and I am so glad to say that I had an amazing time this year, hopefully if we are indeed at the Westin next year as well we can figure out a better situation for next year's con and maybe get some lenience from the staff, if not, FWA needs to peace to another downtown hotel (pssssssst.......the Marriott is the shit ;3c). Big thank yous to everyone who helped make this con amazing for me, you know who you are: if we hung out, drank together, mobbed around together, smoked together, grabbed food together, even if we just met and said hello, every single one of you are the reason I keep coming back to this con, I love each and every one of you <3
