Finally. Time off and stuff.

UKfursI'm finally off for my holidays so I can get stuff done but it's having both positive and negative effects I think.
The positive effects are obvious, more free time, I can like just say "I'm tired" and take a nap and I can sit here and scheme whatever I want 'cause there's a fair bit I want to do. But.. this free time is also a downer. Basically I found myself thinking "Time to get back in the saddle. Meet someone you really like, let that guard down and take the risk again." So I did. I got to really liking someone. But.. Have you ever met someone and they seem perfect.. But then after learning more and stumbling across things about them you realise that they're one of 'those' people. Not as morally inclined as you, lets just say. And they're up to things that really wound you, even though you're not with them. Although you wanted to ask them if they would like to be. It's like that, right now. Free time and room to think when that stuff is on your mind is just awful. So, I've come up with even more projects to keep my mind occupied, putting the guard back up and leaving it there for now. At least until I meet someone who wants me enough to chip away at it. Hopefully I'll be able to get any out standing work out of the way and get to business with my personal plans such as the comic and other stuff. Feeling inspired and creative, or rather forcing myself to be and it's sort of working.
Anyway, as of this moment; I'm not longer taking commissions unless I say "Oh hey, I'm doing x amount of slots." which won't be unless I really need it. People can feel free to make requests but seriously; Request. Not requirement. Send it to me and then forget about it, if I want to do it then I will let you know. Don't ask or pester because I'll ignore you and just not do it. Plus please, make it interesting for me as well. It's my free time and I want to enjoy what I do with it, not just get endless requests for "Oh hey I want my character with his fifty-inch dick pounding this chick." No, bro. Just no. I will say though that adding my character/s into the piece or if it involves an interesting/hot/fucking awesome character or idea that those chances go waaay up.
Anyway, it's late. Sleep time.

Yup, sounds familiar to me. Yet, I realize no one is perfect. Avoid the toxic people in life that sap your strength and support those who choose to be around you because you are just awesome at being you. I rather be inspired to be creative and let it all flow myself so good luck on your personal projects wherever they may lead you.
As for the requests, I dislike people who pester artists for free art via raffle, contest, experiment, request, or new sample art. Requests should be fun chosen project not a chore. What was the last fun thing you really enjoyed drawing or doing?
I don't even remember the last thing I really enjoyed doing, but my passions include Sci-Fi, fantasy and few other awesome things so one of the projects I have going on is sort of Sci-Fi related and if the designs aren't too complicated there's plans to have it made into a physical object, building it myself.
