NO PARENTS ALLOWED I was originally under the impression that it was authentic, but I've been digging and now I'm very ambivalent. I'm jumping out of all this for now.

Not exactly. It's a convoluted situation involving 2, maybe 3 or more people, making fake aliases and other such things to make a generally terrible person look worse. Possibly revenge? Whatever it is, it's an overblown situation caused by the terrible behaviour of said person who is being targeted.
