Birthday/FWA/Future Con Plans

Hey everybody!
This journal is a bit of updates with going ons and con plans. Might be slightly boring, so feel free to skip to the TDLR;
I'm currently working on a large scale personal project (a few of you know what I'm talking about), so posting around will become fairly sporadic. As it starts to fall into place though, I'ill be posting pages from it here and to a special tumblr, but that's still a few weeks down the line. It's currently high concept stages and thumbnails, but I'm really excited to start actually getting into the nitty gritty soon.
I turned 24 two weeks ago and it was one of the best birthdays ever! I was in Atlanta at the time for FWA/visiting old college friends. My old roommate took us to the zoo (non-furries taking furries to the zoo? what?) and we had Korean BBQ with a huge group (14+) of all my old college buddies for dinner. One of my friend even made me a fancy tinfoil and paper hat with a super cute button! It was really wonderful and touching to see all my old friends again and good to see that so little has changed since graduation. I also got some incredible gift art from a bunch of really talented artists here!

The rest of the weekend was spent at FWA which was INCREDIBLE, FANTASTIC, WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE IT! There were so many fantastic people (I'm not even sure I can name them all off!) and it really felt like everywhere I went there was someone who I wanted to talk to and hang out with. It was a really nice change of pace since cons are usually aimless solo wandering. There was so much friendly love being exchanged, it really warmed my heart! I don't think I've ever felt more loved than just hanging around with people that made the weekend so fabulous. Suiting for the first time was such a complete and total blast and know I understand why people want to do it do often. Watching the dance comp was definitely the highlight of the con (as they always are for me) and everyone involved was so talented and inspiring it makes me want to dance even more! The rave afterwards was tons of fun too and I have to say a big thank you to whoever managed to pick up my glasses off the floor after 1/2 a bottle of whiskey (two night of being a drunken hot mess in a row? Sounds like a good con). Needless to say though, it was one of my favorite experiences at a con so far and I'm mostly surely coming back again next year!
For future plans, I originally was planning on doing AC, but instead I'm going to be spending the weekend with my family. So, there is a good chance I'ill either end up at MFF or Burning Man for personal vacation time. Does anyone have a recommendation or could tell me about their experiences there? Are you going to either one? I'm interested in hearing from you!

I have never been to burning man, but I expect it's another great experience...just different than furry.
If we both end up at MFF (:steelyphillink: and I are hoping to make it work but I just don't know yet?) I will track you down and give you the biggest hug you've ever seen.
Really excited about this project of yours!
I'm going to be back again for FWA and a bit of vacation time again next year.
Is that where you're from?
Doing FCN, maybe AC. I'd love to do burning man at some point.
Maybe we could do a burning man trip together at some point? :3
