It's important to be able to moderate the questions, that's for sure. I should hope that the crowd at AC that would go to this would be a *bit* better than the average person on the street.

If you end up doing a panel, I can have the copies of the comic printed out like a little zine to hand out to folks there. I mean, I can probably do that either way, but it would be nice to have some written/furry material for folks to take home too!

I like that your idea included a panel for cisgender people/issues. I know trans issues ARE a huge concern but to say that cis people don't have issues of their own from society is unjust and if we're to expect fair and equal treatment, we should be extending it.

...Um, the panel would be educated cisgender people on trans* issues and how to be respectful.

Oh. Well that's awesome too, more-so I'd say. :P Why the panel specifically for trans people though? I mean...going to that sort of outs you to everyone there, and who's to stop someone going who's not trans? Why not just make it a general one. People would be more comfortable in going, I'd think, regardless of how they identify.

easier to focus on topics. the trans specific one would focus on sharing resources for each other. the one for cis people would focus on education for cis people on how to be respectful. it would be two entirely different panels.

That's pretty standard for trans* panels. Sometimes there'll be a third one that includes both cis and trans* attendees. You can have the panel be all-encompassing, but it can be a lot to deal with in just an hour or an hour and a half.

Ahh okay. Makes sense. I guess I'm bringing fears into it from other places. Going to the trans one certainly doesn't out you. Could be going for a friend, for instance. Or family member.

I love this idea. I'd be down for helping out and answering questions as well, being ftm myself. Keep me updated on where this goes!

Sounds like a great ideas, you could plant people to ask a couple of well worded questions, then maybe everyone will have a good idea on what to ask.

Or just give examples. Good idea!
