As usual, was cruising the CraigsList pets section like I do with my (soontobesisterinlaw) brother's girl, and found a Basset Hound, free to good home. Mental brakes were screeched and I immediately emailed the current owner and my contact with Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. I'll be picking up Daisy Mae first thing in the morning, and then turning her over to the awesome lady who was Quigley & Gracie's foster mom. Blu looked at her pictures and melted. She's a lemon (yellow & white) Basset with a pink nose. I've never been partial to that coloring before, but she's got the cutest dappling on her hind quarters that looks like a butterfly.

I -so- cannot afford a 3rd dog. Lol.

But yeah, doing my good deed and making sure that she gets matched with the perfect family.
