Hey everybody, how's it going?
First off i should adress the previous journal.
I was able to use a tool and SALVAGE a huge chunk of my lost files.
Not all of it unfortunatly, i may have to try again. But i did get back... pretty much all of my PS files! Yeah! I got those back.
Unfortunatly they mixed all the layers together and some of the options refuse to work cause the files are damaged, but i can work with them okay.
Fortunatly, now that this mess has happened, and i got a new job as i said... i have been feeling more motivated to draw, which is great!
However due to my job i make long day's and i dont really have the energy to stay up very long.:P
I'd like to thank all the comments i got to make me feel better and some of the advice given to me! And i'm sorry i didnt reply to you in person.

As long as you managed to salvage most of what you were working on, then it's all good. I went through pretty much the same thing last year, so I know that feel of relief when you managed to save just a smidgeon of all of your stuff.

Nice to hear that you could get your things back and that you are motivated again!

If you still got the drive go download ubuntu burn it to a cd and pop it in and when it runs choose to run it from CD, it's a test run kinda thing, it'll load ubuntu from ram and if you've still got the drive hooked up you should be able to get most if not all of your data back. My hard drive crashed in December I did that and was able to recover everything. Well assuming you haven't tried that already and you've got an alternate drive to back up to lol. Just remember click on the try it option if not you might accidentally install ubuntu lol.
