Due to the massive flood of messages I have been having over here where people request picture removals on Yiffy.tk...
Yes. I am a moderator on Yiffy.tk.
Yes, we do take down pictures in Yiffy.tk if the owner of the picture requests for us to do so. As an artist of some degree myself, I can respect and honor that.
Now what I cannot, however respect or honor is the fact that I am being bombarded with messages and requests over here.
Is this Yiffy.tk?
No. It is not.
This is Furaffinity, and this is my personal account that is not linked to my activity in Yiffy.tk, especially when it comes to official business.
So. Please do not start mixing my private account in to this.
Hell, I am actually quite pissed at the fact that people show such little consideration to my own privacy on their quest to secure their own.
So here's how it goes. You want a picture removed on Yiffy.tk? You go there. You make an account. You give a moderator, such like me, a message. The picture will be dealt with as soon as we can.
I will not take action at all if you message me here about it. I will in fact completely ignore it. And give you an imaginary finger for disturbing my peace. And a link to this journal.
Do it right, and there will be no problem.

Just to clarify, we are not banning people just for joining and telling us to take pictures down. In fact, until further notice, all character pictures have been taken off.
I do not know what is causing log in problems, but it is not due to bans being handed out like it is free candy.
I can only imagine, however, that rumors are spreading like wildfire and pitchforks and torches are getting prepared.

This guy just doesn't want to do work.
But as it always stands, looking in the mirror is difficult.
Now, again, I ask that this discussion moves to the Yiffy.tk if it is regarding that.

Bottom line is, that no person is banned for requesting picture removal.
This still is the wrong place to talk about it, though.
most of the people who are doing this are stalkers or uninspired lazy people who feel its fine to steal. eitherway goodluck on the matters. i've only registered there to keep an eye out for myself.
And if we are requested, we will take them down.
But all I ask in return is for people to leave my private account in peace, and contact me on Yiffy.tk instead.

To be honest, this doesn't show them much respect.
So why should they offer you the same respect of not contacting you on your private personal account here?
Again, this is just gonna cause a lot of artists and commissioners to just send in DMCAs,
since it's the only route left for some of them.
When you become a moderator of a site,
your personal life will get thrown out of a window.
Especially if it's the only way for people to get results.
this is why i refuse to become a moderator or administrator on anything.
As for the entire picture ordeal, it has been resolved for the time being.
And I ask for this respect due to the fact that I believe that perhaps people are not so dense and blind that they would understand that perhaps I am not the one responsible for this. Hell, I was the first to help people out on this.
I see how that paid off.
As for my personal life, it is still quite intact as I'd prefer to keep it, I am not exactly "bound" by any force. I do what I do because I choose to.
Still, I doubt people refuse to make an account to send a proper message to the moderators just because someone got banned for whatever reason. Everyone I have helped got along just fine.
If you are too lazy or just unwilling to do a simple account that you can forget about it ever existed afterwards, then no, you won't get any help. There are a lot of metaphors I could use to describe how I feel when people start demanding things from me on my personal area, but perhaps such real life metaphors are a bit too serious to be used here, considering we are, in the end, talking about pixels on the screen here.
