My stances on this are twofold:

Copyright for art is not mine, I am only an interested third party (the commissioner). It's the artist's decision as to if they wish things to come down, and I will support whatever decision my colleagues make.

As the cases currently being put forth are using the artwork more for representation (at least the responsible ones) of what their character might look like, it doesn't threaten me as player of Molly, Krinele, or Kivie. Names aren't used in the cases I've seen, nobody's pretending to be the actual owner of my character (unlike other times)... So I'm less harmed than with other instances.
