Cartoon of the Week -- Freddie, Get Ready

General
A small boy has an animated dream on the Night before Easter:
This clip from the 1949 feature film My Dream is Yours ends before the part where Freddie finally gets out of bed, sees his Easter basket and kneels before it as though in awe. Then his mother enters the room and hurriedly says, "Go back to bed, Freddie dear -- the Easter Bunny hasn't come yet." Turns out it was still the middle of the night!
Another movie which had a scene where a live-action character falls asleep and dreams of being with a couple of famous cartoon characters is MGM's Dangerous When Wet, circa 1953.

powerful Oztalented wabbit and I wouldn't take it away from his many accomplishments, but somethings he's just no good at.Truth be told "Easter Yeggs" really isn't a very funny cartoon (outside of that short excerpt), and you've pointed out one of the reasons why it's not that good. At least "Freddie get Ready" is just a young boy's dream, and as such it can be dismissed as "not canon."
