Matt smith. In fact the title of the episode turns out pointed to his Tardis within the first five minutes. leaving you wondering what the episode is going to be. Since more often than not the titles tend to describe the ep in a few words. Doctor's fake phone was ringing in the door of the tardis which has a St. johns logo on it. :)

Lost interest after Tennant. VERY close to Tom Baker. Light hearted and fun but could be very serious when needed

yeah Matt smith seems to be more of a younger version of Patrick Troughton. He was pretty great though, and since Matt smith was the current holder for youngest actor to play the doctor they can really have him do some energetic stuff. I like how he sort of plays an old man with immature moments. Most of his companions leave, But his latest Amy Pond had sacrificed herself in the name of love of her husband. It's Torn up the doctor so much he's remodeled the interior of his tardis and for a while ( in the Christmas special) he gave up being the doctor and helping people.
