Yeah, I remember a couple of years ago on The One Show when they claimed they discovered a dormant gene in horses to make them grow a horn. Then they said they had triggered the gene in a specimin and showed (what I though was) a real-life unicorn but the horn was just sellotaped on. I'm not one for April Fools day jokes.

I knew something didn't add up. There was no mention as to who found you in the shower or who might have had access to into your home for that matter. Theoretically it would have been a family member or a roommate maybe a friend. They would either been already aware, thus no fresh padding at the hospital or if not then you'd have mentioned embarrasement especially if it was family that found you.

Indeed, it was a rather convincing accident the way you described it. Been watching Scooby Doo all weekend listening to Velma and Fred talk endless about clues that got me to thinking about it. Plus this day is too notorious for pranks to take things too seriously.
