they make it very hard to cancel, almost to the point of being illegal.

My mate had to cancel her credit card altogether.

Not sure if you have to cancel your new card or not. I'd talk with your bank first to see if they might know if this company can continue to charge you once the old card has expired. The company, given you can't get a hold of them, won't be able to change the expiration date to the new card unless they do some illegal stuff.

Cancellation of the VIP should happen automatically once the old credit/debit card expires according to the exasperation data, which is usually the last day of the month/year shown on the card itself. Companies cannot really legally continue to draw funds past that point, even if your new card has the same numbers on it as the old one...with the only difference being that expiration date.

P.S. Save as much information you can if the company does try to charge you and is able to, report such to the BBB as well as your bank. Explain to both your bank and the BBB that the company doing the charge should not have your current credit/debit card's expiration date and that you have no other way to be able to cancel the account, given you don't have the needed information to cancel otherwise. Hope this all makes since and can help you out.

I wait to beginning of may to talk my bank because to see if they still charge me or not and then take action. Since the charge me near the expiration date on the 29th. If I have to I just report my card was lost at a county park witch I visited a lot.
