It has to be an interesting phenomenon to have relatives in the fandom that are a generation separated. Like having a nephew or uncle in the fandom and finding out that you like to party the same way.

I totally agree with you, but the dad (sisters husband) is really on a misunderstanding of what being a furry is, bases his views on the fandom on shows like 1000 ways to die and that CSI Episode

That wasn't what I meant. He should encourage your nephew to be a good person. The fandom part will happen on its own at its own pace.

I hope all will go well for him and his dad can be educated about the fandom and come to understand that most of us are good people and we try to watch out for each other and help as much as we can and when we can... your nephew has my vote as a good person. *high paw bumps*. SB.
