Oooh, fascinating! Something about pictures being a thousand words and compensating for any lack of illustrative ability by writing a sufficient number of words...or at least that would be my process. You're actually a pretty accomplished doodler, yourself. Certainly does help to compare visualizations that are produced in my head with those that are generated by others. The fact that they seem to match up pretty well is evident of high-quality writing.
