Nordic fuzzcon

I don't really often write journals about my thoughts or experiences, it just isn't a habbit I have gotten into. But I think this is one of those occasions when I would ^^. Just a few days ago, from writing this anyway, the first Nordic FuzzCon ended, the first furry convention to be held in Sweden. Not only was it a bundle of new experiences for me personally to be able to attend, I think it was a slice of history for the furry culture, and hopefully the begining of something grand in the future.
It was my very first furry convention, and I have not been to many other types of conventions either. I was charmed by the whole thing from the first day ^^ For a first-time con in a country that hasn't had any before the ammount of attendees was high, but I think it just hit those perfect numbers where it was not uncomfortable at all. The atmosphere was inviting and friendly and it felt like I could almost go up to any fur at all and just hang with them. And I pretty much did that a few times ^^.
Everyone was very well behaved and there was no embarrasing or uncomfortable incidents in public (I don't know what happened in peoples rooms <.<), the events were all interesting and the hotel was perfect. To shorten this part down I guess I would say that I could not find any faults with the con.
To all the furs I met there, that I knew or got to knew, you were all very nice people. Don't be a stranger, unless you for some reason want to be o.o
And to the ones who didn't catch me or felt shy about talking to me, sorry, heh, and next time don't feel awkward about coming up and greeting me at any time, even if it looks like I am busy with something ^^.
It was a very invigorating experience, and reminded me of why I love the furry community. All the charming good parts of it. Now I have this urge to get a fursuit and join in on that fun too, hah XD
That will probably actually happen.

I kinda feel like getting a fursuit too... and I agree, the con was wonderful. My faith in the furry community has been restored, and I am really happy all the negative feelings and misgivings I had about the whole thing were so thoroughly dispelled.
Only problem is now my expectations for next year will be astronomical.
