Why mom? Why?

So here is a littel problem I been having whit my mom in the last days. It all stared when we was out shopping fir some food at the party and my mom did ask me what I would like. I said that I did not want anything spechal. And she freak out in the shoping center.
She begin to say that I could not say that I did not want to have a party. Becaous so many of the family really would be sad if they find out that was no party.
IT WAS NOT WHAT I SAID, I was talking about the food. I could be happy whit some vegitarian burger or just a cake. I try to tell her that it was not what I said but she do not belive in me. And now she has posting the episod on her facebook and all her freinds that is freinds whit me too keep saying bad things about me on my wall even if I try to tell them that it is a misunderstaning
But why Mom ? WHY?

Mit mor er ogsa lidt tosset med fest til familia. But not that crazy. I never understood how come danish family parties have to be so important and formal. My advice to you is just keep calm. If you are level headed and say the right things then everyone will see that she is just being nuts and its not you who is the problem at all.

year I just have to see how it is going. I know when she is going to make the food I have to stay 20 meters away drom the kitchen just to make sure I do not mess up anything. And if I ask if she need help she said no but after the party she can talk about how she could need a hand whit the making of the food. I just going to say I will never understand my mom.
