Adoptables Auction?(YOUR OPINION HERE) + Digital Sketchbook?
12 years ago
I've been thinking of making adoptable auctions after (or before) I finish my commissions...
Got their designs planned out and everything.
(Now I know some of you guys don't like Adoptable Journals and such...but bear with me for a bit!^^")
So I need your opinion...
How long should I make the auction?
And what would be a good starting price?
And what would be a good increment price?oAo
I was thinking of making the auctions last for five days, starting price $10, and increment price $2.
This is for shaded, colored chibi style knights with weapons and a gradient BG and also a color palette at the side. :)
Is that okay? Or do you have a better idea? Let me know here!

Due to being busy with school, I've not been able to use my computer much. Instead, I rely on my iPad to go online and draw figitally, so I use it as a digital sketchbook of sorts.Would you guys like to see drawings from my digital sketchbook here if I ever do complete them? Or would you prefer higher quality arts and such here on FA?
~~~~~~~~~
Yeah I think that's about all!
Exams/finals are on next week so I won't be able to draw much as I'lll be busy drawing in school.
Or will I? Haha!
Till then, stay awesome! :)
I was also debating whether they'd be cheaper too, since they are chibi and stuff. oAo
but what I've mostly seen on FA is that people use flatcolor characters for auctions, and I'm using fullshaded instead.
So there was a bit of confusion in my brain too.
But thanks for your input! I appreciate it. :)
I'm wait for more input though, as to whether I should keep the starting price at that level or decrease it. :)
Oh, really? Hurray! I'm happy for that 8D
Starting bid wise, it can be anything, usually $10-$15 is an appropriate start since it is the bidders who decide the price. Starting too high puts off people from attempting.
Increment is price is usually good at $5, since it stops people going 1-2-3-4-5... and so on.
-Yes, I agree too. Usually not more than a week right?
-Hmm, true. (although I know I wouldn't buy my own commissions if I were myself- //bricked)
-Really? But by the 6th person it would be like...USD 40 already. O-o
Yeah I wouldn't like spam either. x)
Thanks for the input!
although not as complicated as character designers xD
Thanks niisan for your input! :)
Although these are auction so I'm not sure what the final price will be.^^a
(Usually my chibi start at usd 30,but for auctions it's now usd 10)
Thanks for your input on this topic! :)
I feel like that too. OTL but it's more fun than commissions so I plan to do that for a few times to see if I like it...
I see! Thanks for your input! :D
Haha it was supposed to be 'digitally'. typo. -w-"b
You too!
