when i was young, santa, tooth fairy, and easter bunny didnt exist. but i was told a bunch of old wives tales to get certain things done.
the homework monster. finish your homework or it would fill your sleep with nightmares.
the whistle owl. if you whistle at night an owl headed man will steal your tongue.
the dark one. if you walk alone at night a man in a suit with a dark face with no features will take you to hell. (i got around it when me and a girl i liked walked to the cemetary at midnight. we were 5. )
the face snatcher. if you keep making faces it will be stuck that way forever because the face stealer will take your original one.
these stupid myths were used to get a certain effect. do your homework. dont whistle at night. dont go outside alone at night.
