cool o3o, I have MH3 and I finally got past the great jaggi hunt quest..... fricking hate that it was distance that was the problem

i just finished the great wroggi quest. right now i'm doing some grinding to make a new hunting horn with queroco/po(?) feathers but ugghh i HATE FIGHTING THIS THING

I hated fighting that monster in the coliseum, and what's the hunting horns for exactly? i'm still a noob and not familiar with the horns use

well it's strong, kinda slow, but you can buff yourself (and others i think) with the special notes that come out of it. Plus, it has a great reach. I was gonna go long range weapons until i tried out that bad boy oAo

Hunting horn's kind of weird, it's basically the same kind of idea as the hammer in that you whack things around with it, but it has the additional ability to play songs using notes that play whenever you attack in a certain way and very for each weapon. Songs can have a myriad number of effects, including healing, stat buffs, and giving resistance to certain effects. It's most useful as a support weapon for multiplayer because songs affect all players in the area, but you can still use them in single player easily. -n-

I see o3o very cool, that would also explain the other combinations I found in making the horns, like antiseptic horn and tranq horn

Qurupeco's a major pain in the ass early on, especially for beginning players. xc You really want to have green sharpness for him, otherwise your attacks will bounce off just about everything.

Though yay, didn't know you actually got the game. -n- Hopefully I'll be getting the Wii U version when summer break comes around.

i died twice on my first try fighting him. Now i just use dual blades and END HIS FUCKING LIFE. I've kinda gotten it down how to beat him it's just "OMG HUNTER! HEY JAGGI I HEARD HE WANTS TO BE YOUR BEST FRIEND *Great jaggi appears and procedes to play Hip Check Ultimate* >:C then he flies away...then Jaggi runs away...so you're left with nothing. ;x;

Plus, my Dual blades are a knife and fork ;3; it soooo fits~

Dual Blades are pretty good for that, since their demon dance attacks don't bounce if sharpness is too low. -n- Though it does burn through your sharpness like a bitch. xc And haw, the Glutton's Tools line. >:x Which eventually becomes a spatula and soup ladle. >:c

I still say it's not Mewthree until it comes directly from the horse's mouth. And even then, they may just be playing a prank with "Mewthree."

Yay, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, so glad it has the changing from one system to the other, I has it on both, I about to start HR3 online, and I about to take on the Ceadeus on the village side of things.
