Tell me what to draw!

I'm bored, and I wanna draw a monster, but I'm afraid I might end up drawing a generic monster from some adventure game.
So this is your opportunity guys! :D
Give me a creative environment, a creative description, a creative story, whatever! I'll choose the top 3 choices and draw a random, super awesome monster to go with it!! :3 Think of this as a free commission or something. FREE.
EXAMPLE:
In a distant forest far away on a planet where technology has corrupted bla bla bla the plants are purple, green mist shrouds the forest, all those who step foot upon this forest are doomed to bla bla bla you can hear the faint sound of bla bla bla...
I'm actually not really good with descriptions, but I hope you get the idea. Oh yeah, and try to stay away from sci-fi type stuff (aliens, space creatures, etc.)

EDIT: oh yeah, deadline would be like tomorrow night at 11:59 PM Pacific time, but the sooner, the better cuz I'll be choosing as they come in. P:

The premise sounds pretty typical, but if you choose to accept it here is your challenge: Write the short story in such a way that the reader doesn't figure out what happened to the character until he does.
