Well, the second games are sort of sequels to the first, so some elements may be confusing... Mostly minor things, but they add up.... i think you'd enjoy the storyline alot bettter if you played them in order, I did, and love it ^^

Both games are good, I like things in the 2nd game better, but it does make more sense to start on the 1st game if you're interested in the story. It's cool seeing how much things change in the 2 years between the games (in terms of story) if you play both.

BW2 is actually much more enjoyable than the first game, but yeah, the story is actually a sequel. Plus, you can transfer some minor plot points from BW1 to BW2, so I too totally recommend it :3

B/W 2 is a continuation of the story of B/W, it takes place two years later and while there are no new Pokemon, there's some perks to playing through the first one first, such as being able to capture N's Pokemon through the memory link, bonus content due to the memory link. There's also the fact that in the second game you don't get the same experience, the region changes with time, two new gyms and different routes, and you encounter the legendaries differently.

well you can with codes on B/W2, also, the hardmode/easymode thing is silly...

If you care about the story, play B/W first.

Gameplay wise, B/W2 does it better.

Still both are pretty great.

Honestly, i played both black 1 and black 2 and even though they try their best to make them different. They are basically the same game. Get 8 badges and collect pokemon. The stories are only SLIGHTLY twerked. The black 2 DOES pick off 2 years after black one, but i dont think you will miss much. Just sayin. *wagwag* :3
