Furthemore was fantastic

I never leave long con journals, but I figured it was worth writing about how much fun Furthemore was this past weekend.
I loved every second I was there. Look Left had a good show, our table did pretty well, I met new fun people, I got to know old fun people better, and collected enough storries to fill a small newspaper.
This was the con's first year and they were just shy of 500 attendees. The space was really cool, the hotel staff was friendly, the food was good, the suiters were adorable, and it was less than 4 hours away from my place.
If you didnt' make it this year you should try for it next year. It was fantastic.

Plus the fact that they had such a huge turnout for their first year, is awesome. Just goes to show how desperate that area of the country was for an April con. :)
I was amazed how many people were there. I had a few friends say "oh, nobody will be there so I'm not going" psssshhhh
