I am in :)
In what you ask? In the game industry :D
After finishing my website and contacting a lot of people I got this sweet gig at a local game studio, they are pretty small which makes it even awesomer!
That's all for now~
Sometimes I get CRAAAAZY game ideas in my head and just don't have an outlet or way of making them. I'm really proud of you for getting to do that!! ^_^
Ya era hora que pasara esto ^^ hehehe.. Estas realizando el sueΓ±o de muchos de nosotros ^^ Mucha suerte, sigue adelante y esperemos ver todos los juegos en los que trabajaras ^^
I will be working on a social game that makes the user bet against their friends in their social medias, I will be just doing UI integration though, nothing fancy yet =]
Congrats! I've been trying to get into that industry so badly for years! Too bad that there aren't that many producer jobs out there for a new graduate like me...
In medium and large developer studios, a producer is in charge of organizing and coordinating a game's production from various departments. For example, a producer would meet with a writer to develop a story, a game designer to think up game mechanics, programmers to code the game, artists for a vision, composer for music, and many other roles.
This is especially big in companies that make big AAA titles like Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Half-Life, Guild Wars 2, etc. The need of a producer comes from coordinating all of these...assets to be put together to make a polished game. However, in smaller studios, the need of a producer can be done by the Lead Programmer or some other leadership position.
They do mobile games, so Iphone and Android.
