Nope, they want to ban guns, they must ban knives since you can kill and attack people with them as well.

The fact still remains, you can kill and injure without guns. Banning them is not going to stop the violence.

On a more mature note, you're correct, that's what elkit said in his post. Violence only begets violence and things are often bound to happen everywhere, knives, guns, a car, hell someone could decide to just start running people down with a car.

And yes, but the thing is, the government thinks that by taking away guns, that it's going to curb violence, when all that is going to do is the exact opposite. Gun control doesn't work.
