why does it back fire when i help?

why do things backfire sometimes when i attempt to help others, when helping others find love it ends up falling apart in a painful way for both sides, or when helping someone when they are being harassed or assaulted they end up attacking me instead, or when suggesting a solution to a problem they lash at me, or even when i go out of my way to help another and prevent them from taking their own life they end up hating me and anyone that aided in my attempt to make sure they were alright, why do i get blocked when i try to find out what went wrong. is it because im akward or creepy it is because its odd that i seem to want to help so much? why must things get so badly for me?

my reason is some of those people have had so much trouble been betrayed so many times and have had their heart ripped from them so many times that they become so untrusting of others that they will even lash at those that try to help
