More problems....great...
I've talked to some rude people from collection agencies before but the one I was just talking to takes the cake. Actually I can't say I was talking because he barely let me get a word in! I finally get the nerve to tell him to listen and he yells at me basically saying that I have no right to speak just to give the money. I hung up on him and now I'm fuming mad. I have a bad temper...I get it from both sides of my family. I don't take too well to people talking or yelling to me like that so. And I am doing my best not to rage and break down and cry.
I know I put up $10 commissions to pay them off. I'm actually still working on them. Thing is when I went to pay for my visa, the bank said they never heard of this agency and said it was most likely a scam. So since we didn't know the name of the real agency and the bank couldn't tell us, instead we used the money to pay off other outstanding bills...turns out, my bad that I got the name wrong. So lovely they still want the money of course. And now they sent me over to a new agency and I get this dick! More stress added to what I already have. I couldn't even explain what was going on because he wouldn't let me!
I don't know what to do! I can't ask my parents because they already spent a bunch on the wedding and I can't open more commissions I already have a big pile to work on. I'm stuck and I just want this over. My stress level just sky rocketed to a point where I feel like I will have a massive panic attack and just shut down.

1. The moment you see the call come in, start recording. Your phone should have the ability to do that.
2. Keep calm. Don't get angry, don't swear back. Just keep trying to read this to them. The more they interrupt you, the better.
3. Do not, under ANY circumstances, EVER say that you WILL NOT pay the debt. Don't ever say that. Say, "At this current time, I am not able to properly address the debt, but look forward to doing so when circumstances permit." Be very careful about this! If they catch you saying, "I'm not going to pay it", or anything that can be construed that way, they'll take you straight to court.
4. If at any time they become abusive again, follow this script:
Here's what you say:
"You are recording this call, and so am I. This constitutes 2-party notification.
My name is XXX, and you have just been abusive to me over the phone in the process of attempting to collect a debt, which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, United States Code 15, title 1692c, section 806, paragraphs 1, 2 and 5: threats, obscene language and harassment.
Under Section 814, subsection a, as well as subsection b and subsection c, paragraph 4, which is sub-title 4 of Title 49, a copy of this conversation will be sent to the Federal Trade Commission for dispensation and administrative penalty, as well as additional copies to the state attorney general, the Better Business Bureau, the local police and my telephone service provider, to be filed as a complaint and documentation of harassment.
Under Section 805, paragraph 3, section C, cessation of communications, you are directed to immediately cease and desist from calling this number. Be advised that this call WILL be followed up by a written instruction, citing this section and the reason. A copy of this call and the written instruction will also be sent to the FTC. This is just your verbal warning that you are already in violation and that you are being ordered to cease and desist.
Upon receipt of your written instruction, you are to never call this number again by any means, be they digital or analog, voice or fax, except as provided under the provisions of paragraph c, sub-paragraphs 1-3.
Do you understand what I have just told you?
Do you acknowledge that under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, United States Code 15, title 1692c, section 805, paragraph c: CEASING COMMUNICATION, I have instructed you and the company and/or agencies you represent that you are to never contact me or this number ever again, except as provided under the provisions of paragraph c, sub-paragraphs 1-3?
Have you documented my invocation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, United States Code 15, title 1692c, section 805, paragraph c: CEASING COMMUNICATION, in the record and/or records that you are currently working from?
Have you also documented your violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, United States Code 15, title 1692c, section 806, paragraphs 1, 2 and 5: threats, obscene language and harassment? Be advised that failure to document this violation in your working record, when combined with this recording, will constitute confirmation of fraudulent behavior on your part."
They better answer "Yes." to each one.
Print this out in large, bold print and keep it by the phone. Most likely, you will only have to read it once.
And finally, if you have to use this, FOLLOW UP ON EVERYTHING!!!
Follow these instructions, and rape those fuckers with a spiked telephone pole.
