Critters are starting to take shape in the studio; getting old projects cut out and put together with our new industrial sewing machine. I was holding off sewing a lot of things till we could replace our workhorse and I'm so glad I did.
Sewing with a proper machine takes all the 'work' out of it, it cuts down on the time I spent just fighting getting the fabric under the needle. What a difference the proper tools make!

I wish I had a local sewing group or something to lean on when feeling uninspired or stumped with plush making. There's so much trial and error, sometimes remaking one component four or five times before it looks correct is so discouraging... So far I've only found quilting guilds or fashion sewing groups nearby. Where are all the doll makers hiding?? :3

We took a working holiday to attend NAB in Vegas, which was super productive and totally exhausting. I'm glad furry cons haven't gotten to the point of 100K+ attendees and vendor halls that sprawl across multiple city blocks.
