Its a good way to lose clients. If you can't draw what they are going to pay you for, then you aren't worth anyone's time or money. Commissioners are subject to rules of artists and what they will or will not draw. Even if the subject is acceptable you still make it so difficult to collaborate. You draw whatever you feel like with our money and without our consent. If you can't respect the fact that people are willing to pay for your art; then you are a selfish art whore. You are worthy of being added to artists beware. These kinds of artist are better off going broke and being forced to find some other source of income.

I'm confused... Are you saying that artists are the Artwhores if they don't draw what a commissioner asked for and said artist agreed to draw it or are you talking about the artists that take money and don't give what they are paid to do?

Ah. Yeah that sucks when that happens. That's why when I commission artists myself, I ask for sketches to see if anything needs to be changed, before it goes to inking. What really sucks is when they just take the money and keep on dragging people along saying that they are going to do it, but don't.

Yeah I had a similar experience with that. I asked for something very specific and got something back that was drawn in such a way that you couldn't even see it was my character.
