i guess this bears repeating, the sad thing being that it needs to be said in the first place but hey ho.

I do not care if you want to chat with me in the livestream, heck I encourage it. HOWEVER a certain level of decorum must be taken into account.

FIRST AND FORMOST:
if you have a link you want to share and your request goes UNANSWERED. odds are my answer is "no." i have a million things running around in the stream between having to make sure customers are paying, getting thier artwork from the drop box, getting references up for the next one, finding the file if its an upgrade, and all around trying to focus on what is helping me make a living.

I do not have TIME to give you individualistic attention when you start demanding it.

If i do not respond to a request to share a link DO NOT HOUND ME about it. DO NOT THROW A TANTRUM THAT I AM IGNORING YOU. As i stated above I cannot cater to people individually in the streams ESPECIALLY when it is demanded of me, and demanded of me before i "get" to respond to you. It will only put me off to responding to you at all. I deal with attention mongers with the opposite approach, I ignore them. THE BEST way to get me to ignore you is to repeatedly demand my attention in-channel. Slow down, sit back, realize that I'm busy, trying to run a business and respect that you aren't the only one in the stream.

You're not a special snowflake that's exempt from the rules or social graces just because you want to be all chummy with me. You're not exempt from behaving like an adult JUST BECAUSE you decided to GRACE me with your presence. MY Livestream, My rules, my business.

This also bridges into any other aspect of my livestream/artgifts/rp forums etc.

Asking for something only decreases the likelihood of me doing it. I'm actually AFRAID to do gift art for people BECAUSE of this. I DO give discounts, I do gift free artwork on a very rare basis and if you get any of this from me CHERISH it but don't rub it in everyone's face that you got it from me. Be humble. If you get free stuff from me for any reason, it's because I respect you, care for you, and feel like you've deserved it. Don't make me regret that.

I'm trying to foster a similar environment in my channel as Gen's stream. (the Little Tales community) I don't have as many mods to keep people in check, i'm trying to keep everyone in line mostly by myself most of the time. It gets overwhelming and its hard to find people to mod that I trust won't go "drunk with power" and start swinging the hammer at every small offense. It's also hard to find people who won't brag about having that power even if they never use it. It tends to scare newbies away really quick.

So please do me a huge favor and don't be an attention whore. if you want attention so bad, start your own livestream, earn your own viewership and be the star of your own show, while you're in my livestream, you're there to hang out, have fun, and have fun converstation with me and other streamers. Not to turn it into your own personal Me show.

I'm not singling out any one person with this so PLEASE if you think im talking about you, odds are i'm not. Its just something ive noticed lately especially with new people coming into the stream every day and having the rules not be something they inherently know.

TL;DR, If you demand attention from me, its the easiest way for me to ignore you. I don't play those games.
