No, do not give up! I felt the same way years ago (and sometimes even today) that my art was/is crap. I did get assholes telling me I sucked too, but I kept going (though I will admit I slowed down a lot).

Anyway what I am trying to say is just keep drawing. There are people who like your art. Also the more you draw the better you get at it. Ask any artist. Asshole critics will never really go away, but don't let it stop you...

P.S. (sorry for the double post) I know you aren't going to give up, I shouldn't have said that. But keep on posting work time to time. The journey to improv your art doesn't mean you have to go.

Thats a shame for you to give up cos of one bussy body. No one should ever get on at someones work unless thay ask for critacism and only then in a helpfull sense. Everybody is always learning and refining. To me my old work hurts my eyes and I push myself to improve. But Im posting up all my work, even the stuff that sucks to me. Just cos something is not perfect does not mean it has no apeal. Im sorry to hear this person has done this too you to make you feel you cant post your work till you have reached a certain so called standard. I know only to well what its like to feel a total failure and inferior, and below par. Heh you work is cute and with apeal, I like your cute kitty spread one. I know you are not giving in as such, but its sad that your desision was based upon on persons nasty coments. Hope you feel better about posting your work in the future no matter how near or far that may be.
