ive had 5 ratties pass on now, and 3 have been in the space of 2 and a half months :/ and rosie is just over 2yrs......
i hate that they dont live long but thats hopefully going to change soonish..
rosie is doing okay these past few days, sleeping slightly more than usual though :( age i guess
rosie who is caged with layla (gf rat) have been introed with skye and bashful (rosie already knows them as was housed with them few months back) , these 4 are together now in a big cage at my gf's house... twiggy has started becoming agressive towards every one (not to people) and so ive had to seperate her and so now shes alone rat... i guessed shed be like this as for months she has slowly been rejected from her sisters and fights getting worse
im keeping 2 boys that i was planning on rehoming but taking too long so decided to keep :) radagast and rwincewind are their names (can anyone guess where the names are from ?? :P) they are in this new cage which i have brough for pennies at a charity i work at, a noce big cage, needed moding as didnt have a front door :/ but does now :)
there is a diet i want to put my rats on, instead of the normal rat mix and fruit/veg in evenings i have them on.....but cant till i have a proper job to bu the ingredents every months... i also want to put them on to bottled water as tap water, especially in my area, has fluride in it, with is bad for rats :/ and there are brands of bottled water that has got it in it. either that or by this filter for £500 :/
this will hopfully extend there lives 6-8 months but as like things like this it isnt garanteed :/
