What happened?

it all comes down to opinion. what I do outside of the house didn't matter to him. what I mean is, his interest was me helping to pay the bills, but I didn't have the money to do that. when I say "what I do outside of the house" I mean trying to find a job, since I didn't have an income. all I can do is understand his choice.

Sorry to hear your job hunting issues are causing other problems. Did you try asking your friend for job seeking advice? Maybe if you show him you really want to get a job, he'll change his mind.
